About us
Since 2020 Nathan has been serving the Flathead Valley. He started out as an apprentice finish carpenter in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2017 where he learned professional methods in traditional and modern American styles. He moved with his wife Morgan to Kalispell Montana in early 2020 and started Kestrel Carpentry. They now have 2 sons Finley and Fletcher. He named his business Kestrel Carpentry because the American kestrel is known to be adaptable and able to thrive in all environments and Nathan felt that speaks to his strengths and skillset. Nathan has a passion for the outdoors and in his free time enjoys fly fishing, bow hunting and backpacking with his family. Nathan is driven to create timeless works that will last for a lifetime. He takes pride in having the opportunity to create beautiful things in peoples' homes.
